That's an issue on any Ducati with undertail exhausts, so at least misery loves company.

Supposedly this image isn't completely accurate. Or so I hear from a dealer that saw it

Interesting, but I think I'm still partial to blue on the top...

    How about Red/Black or Black/Red?

And lose the mirrors and that awful taillight thing in the back.

Oh that's right! Why not squeeze a little tomato juice in my bleeding wound... Bike is still at Fay Myers. Maybe I'll get it back next year in time to trade it in on this one.

Too, it would be better if they used twin radiators at the side vents like the prior Honda Interceptor models. In traffic that radiator will seriously burn your legs, if it is anything like my 1198.

It loses a bit of detail in the conversion to gif format, but here's the three RWB versions:

i used to like ducati, but they have some shitty reliability and engineering issues for an expensive bike. another italian trash to push it to starbucks, let everyone look at it, than push it back home. i bet they push real nice to the local starbucks. DUCATI, please leave the engineering to the germans and japanese.

The Japanese have never made a bad bike.

    Never.

    Not even once.

    Completely reliable, no issues ever.

    Perfect in every way possible.

God cannot rival their absolute perfection in creation.

    Especially Honda.

I won't say Japanese/german bikes are perfect, but they cost a LOT less to own than a ducati, it's just a fact.

Ducati is just the Italian Harley, it's a lifestyle more than just a vehicle--and that cost of ownership keeps the riff raff away from polluting the Ducati ownership experience...

If the slightly higher maintenance cost of owning a Ducati, is your main concerns about owning a Ducati, then you'll likely never understand the appeal of the brand.
