Just curious, how many push ups can everyone here do at once? I don't think I have ever tested that myself. I remember being in Utah at WSBK a couple years ago and a marine there did about 120 pushups without stopping in a contest to win a free trackday.
Anyone want to take a challenge and see what they can do? And I mean what you can do now, not what you were able to do years ago once upon a time...

I can do more than 6 (I think).
78 pushups in 2 minutes during my last pt test...its all about speed and form.

I used to bust out 20 wide-grip pull-ups (with good form) no prob. After breaking my clavicle and following surgery, I can only do 8 or so now. Anyone ever try to climb a peg board? Great for the abs. Pretty sure I couldn't do it now.

Push ups are for people too poor to buy weights, crossfit girly/men, and prisoners locked in their cell all day
Kidding!!!

Thanks Marc and I apologize!
As for the pushups, I will give it a try this weekend while I'm stuck at the station. This has to be continous pushups. Take as long as you want, but no breaks or going to a knee.

Does anyone else do push-ups? Oh yeah, and some of the most bad-ass service men and woman, willing to give their life to make mine better. But otherwise, you really nailed it with your description, Nate.
(I know you're kidding, I'm just giving you shit.)
What is a push-up?

No man --- when I hit 100% that's it for me. It'll just be maintain maintain maintain from there. Goal weight (165) is roughly 10lbs lighter than I've ever been in my entire adult life... so that will be a massive achievement for me.
I can't even fathom what I'll look like at that weight considering at 175'ish a large contingent of people thought I looked almost gaunt. Difference now is there's a workout program intertwined with the loss - so I'm hoping I won't look like that again.
We shall see... 15 more to go. Next update at 175 I guess!

I wanted to switch up my brands a little.
Just ordered a 5 lb tub of Universal Torrent for post workout protein
And a 5 lb tub of Dymatize Elite Fusion 7 for morning/night protein
Wait after you hit your goal you are just going to stop? Not the best idea man granted it appears this is what got you to the point of needing to lose weight in the first place! Good fitness is a lifestyle and not a period in life. You should reconsider this!!!!
Yeah I have heard you should change it up periodically and it helps with for better absorption. You ever heard that? Maybe I need to try this! Being lactose intolerant makes my option limited though....
