There wasn't a single proper full push up done!!

He looked like he was humping a turtle.

Slightly bending your elbows and going back is not a push up!

I am sure it helps too when your stomach makes you only have to go down 2 inches to touch the floor

Just curious, how many push ups can everyone here do at once? I don't think I have ever tested that myself. I remember being in Utah at WSBK a couple years ago and a marine there did about 120 pushups without stopping in a contest to win a free trackday.

Anyone want to take a challenge and see what they can do? And I mean what you can do now, not what you were able to do years ago once upon a time...

I used to bust out 20 wide-grip pull-ups (with good form) no prob. After breaking my clavicle and following surgery, I can only do 8 or so now. Anyone ever try to climb a peg board? Great for the abs. Pretty sure I couldn't do it now.

About a year or so ago. Went to a gym while visiting Louisiana that had one and gave it a try. Took me a few times to get it down, but man did it hurt.

Push ups are for people too poor to buy weights, crossfit girly/men, and prisoners locked in their cell all day

    Thanks Marc and I apologize!

As for the pushups, I will give it a try this weekend while I'm stuck at the station. This has to be continous pushups. Take as long as you want, but no breaks or going to a knee.

    No worries. It's all good.

I will give it a try soon. I know I can't hit 120 yet, but I will set a baseline to improve from.

Does anyone else do push-ups? Oh yeah, and some of the most bad-ass service men and woman, willing to give their life to make mine better. But otherwise, you really nailed it with your description, Nate.

    Great job.
I have gained 15lbs, due to not working out, eating out, and working 7 days a week (sometimes Two jobs a day).

Excuses, excuses. This Thread gets me motivated again.

No man --- when I hit 100% that's it for me. It'll just be maintain maintain maintain from there. Goal weight (165) is roughly 10lbs lighter than I've ever been in my entire adult life... so that will be a massive achievement for me.

I can't even fathom what I'll look like at that weight considering at 175'ish a large contingent of people thought I looked almost gaunt. Difference now is there's a workout program intertwined with the loss - so I'm hoping I won't look like that again.

We shall see... 15 more to go. Next update at 175 I guess!

I wanted to switch up my brands a little.

Just ordered a 5 lb tub of Universal Torrent for post workout protein

And a 5 lb tub of Dymatize Elite Fusion 7 for morning/night protein

Wait after you hit your goal you are just going to stop? Not the best idea man granted it appears this is what got you to the point of needing to lose weight in the first place! Good fitness is a lifestyle and not a period in life. You should reconsider this!!!!

Yeah I have heard you should change it up periodically and it helps with for better absorption. You ever heard that? Maybe I need to try this! Being lactose intolerant makes my option limited though....
