    Even when I was in shape, playing full court basketball for 3 hours straight.... I would still throw up. Granted, it was just water, it told me I was pushing a little hard.

    BTW, met up with Clarkey last night and he told me about www.myfitnesspal.com. They have everything you can think of in the way of food, so you can log everything you eat, and your calories burned during a work out. They also have phone apps, so you don't have to jump on a computer to log everything. You can even scan the bar code of the thing you're eating and log it that way too.

    That's why we are all doing this! To get back in shape and be healthy! Right now is probably the hardest part. If we keep it up, November will be much easier.

    I can't eat that little amount of food, I'd crash. It sounds good, and healthy, but it's not a lot of fuel.

    Doesn't shrimp have a ton of cholesterol too?

    I had 2 bagels with cream cheese. 2 Cans of tuna and some cottage cheese. No calorie counting for me. The more the merrier

    Wow I once did a 5,000 calories a day diet. Not sure which is worse.....I thought all that eating would be great, but after a few weeks I was so sick of eating....and eating all day long, not to mention the cost of that much food/protein powder.

    HCG diet. People have their opinions about it but I have family and friends who had huge success. No sugars, no starches. 500 calories with 200 grams of protein.

    It sucks at first but you get used to it. Plus it is a steady 1.5lb weight loss per day with 0 muscle mass loss without feeling hungry.

    You do know that your body cannot synthesize that much protein in 2 meals, right? When all is said and done you're probably only getting 60 grams to support any lean muscle you have.

    Yes. If you read the protocol you can understand fully how it works, but studies show zero muscle mass loss, in fact, some show a gain in muscle mass.

    i did that diet for a month and a half and after the first week is was ok, i dropped about 40 lbs in a month and half. i did the drops, might do another round soon. it sounds impossible but with hcg its not bad and i kept all the weight off, I might raise my cal intake to 1000 a day so i can do a light workout everyday.

    True. I can see what you mean about not working out while on the 500 cal. I hauled a new dining room table up my stairs and almost passed out.

    So far so good after 4 days I am 8lbs gone. About 25 days left. This diet is definitely not for everyone.

    yea its a very strict diet with no room for compromise. I felt a little better knowning that doctors can and do actually perscribe it to patients.. I only want to work out cause i love the gym and i felt like i was a lazy a** when i was on the drops and not going to the gym.

    I've read a bit about it. I'm always trying to bulk so I am in the opposite situation. From what I understand, HGC can be a natural test booster. That in itself will help you stay lean, add in a ridiculously low amount of calories and there ya go. Heard of dudes using it during a cycle to keep their grapes intact, but it's used a little differently if I remember correctly. I've just never seen the reasoning for a "fad" diet. Just clean up your diet and bust your ass in the gym....or out on a trail...or somewhere But hey, if it works for ya, more power to ya.
