    WELL THAT'S IT - ITS DONE, FULL, SET, READY-TO-GO

    Now, I don't want to catch anybody selling their slots on e-bay or anything.

    For all trainees - the cost is $50 each. For any of the instructors that said they would pay their share, your $50 will go towards food and refreshments.

    I will work with Lurch and once there is rough outline of the days events, I will distribute that to everyone on the list via email. If any of you have an email address that you would like me to use other than what is listed in your profile, please PM it to me. I will also email everyone details about starting time, safety requirements and where to send your money. I will wait a couple weeks before doing this in case there are any changes to the participation list.

    Any of you that have other questions or need other info, if you don't want to post up, you can email me directly at trophy4rider@msn.com

    Here is the final list;

    Trophy - you will not be able to look up users' email addresses via this forum. You'd be better off using the PM function. The email function isn't sending out messages for some reason, so don't rely on that.

    Or, people can always send you their email address. Personally I'm against posting it on here just because it is public, you never know what'll grab it and start spamming you.

    To clarify, sending an email to somebody via the message board isn't working at the moment.

    I think this is the best bet - we send you a PM with OUR email address, then you can email us all at once.

    Is any of the info being distributed sensitive? Everyone knows when it is, where it is, who is going, how much it costs, etc. I see no harm in everyone being able to see the outline of events, starting time, safety requirements, etc. Why not save yourself some time and effort and just start a new thread when the time comes with all the info for the participants. Seems much simpler than gathering everyone's addresses and sending a bunch of emails - plus there shouldn't be any issues with people not receiving the email if the info is posted here. In addition, if someone isn't able to attend and sells their slot to someone else, all the info is available to the replacement participant (they'll still need to let you know about the swap, but you won't have to worry about getting another address and sending out all the information to them).

    The only potentially sensitive info I see is where to send the money if you plan to use your home address or something. If that is the case, you could PM that info to the participants.

    Nate, I agree with you, it's just that he said he was going to use the email addresses in peoples profiles, and we were just pointing out that there's a problem, either people don't have their email address displayed in their profiles, or if he tries to use th email subsystem of the board, his message won't get through.

    I didn't mean to piss anyone off about the license thing I just don't see how it will work. You have been through the drill before so you know. Are you still going to join us?

    No different Shane. I spoke with you a couple of times last year. I used to race a few years ago and was also a corner marshall for a few years.

    No, you didn't piss me off. I just thought that if it would be possible to kill 2 birds with one stone, I would do that. But I do NOT want to compromise someone else's fun at my trying to achieve something that I can do, probably in short order according to Mark S, so therefor I am backing out of the license issue. I just want everyone to have fun and learn, including myself. I just want to be ready for next season.

    Thanks again Lurch, Shane

    This sounds like a pretty good deal. If people are thinking of abandoning their spots for whatever reason, I'd be happy to take the spot. Is there an alternates list going?

    That is a good idea. I will start an alternates list both for participants and instructors. I will post this list on the PROPER thread;

    I don't want to add anymore instructors. Right now we have 40 students/8 instructors. That works out evenly at 5students per instructor. I will add his name to the Instructors Alternates list in case someone can't make it.
