That would be kewl to videotape riders, I would like to see myself if I actually lean over or not.

Anyone have a rig to do this and view it at the track??? Would we have access to the trailer, I mean track office?

I've got a couple of laptops with wireless. Does anyone have any wireless video cameras?

If the helmet cams/video cams have a dv-out, we can view them on my laptop.

First off, how do we get you the money? second, does anyone know, as of yet, whether this will allow us to obtain the MRA license? Third, anyone have a back protector they would like to sell?

Last, thanks Trophy for getting this up and running (and anyone else who maybe involved).

OK - I think we are going to need to address the INSTRUCTOR list. I think that is it for instructors. We don't need too many instructors and if the instructors aren't paying, we want to make sure they get their fair share of work

I don't have an update on MRA license status. Someone else will have to take that on, if that is a priority.

As far as payments go. I was thinking of setting up a paypal account and everyone could just send their payments in there. I don't want to have to use my personal bank account if I don't have to.

I would love to join you, but I think I would need to burrow a few things.

If someone could possibly let me burrow either a suit, or pants, ( I have a fieldshier Monza II textile) and also maybe a fairing or two for a 92 cbr F2 I would be down!

oh, and if I get those things... I might be able to have another people join in, he's not CSC but would LOVE to hit the track.

SCR doesn't require any bike modifications. As far as I know, they only require full leathers, gloves, boots and helmet.

Remember, as far as SCR is concerned, this is a "test and tune" day, not a race school

    Hello Mike,

We have met previously. I was just wondering if anyone of the people you had mentioned were going to join us. Someone said previously that Ricky Orlando may join us. It doesn't matter much to me, I'll get my license soon enough.

    Thanks, Shane

Either a 1 pc suit, or a jacket & pants that zip together. I'm not sure if the track will allow the small (7") zipper at the back - they may require a "full-zip" (goes about 90% of the way around) setup.

    Over the cuff leather gloves.

    Riding boots.

Bikes don't have to be safety wired, but lights should be taped over (it's also a good idea to unplug them or take out the fuse so the tape doesn't melt onto the headlight lens).

Tires should be in decent condition. They don't have to be brand new, but they shouldn't be near the wear bars either.

Brakes should have a minimum pad thickness - when I attended Team Infotech's school at PPIR, I think it was 3mm. I might have the documentation somewhere, but I'll have to check.

Not sure if they could join with or not. All of the before mentioned teach classes but all get paid to do so.The best way to find out would be to contact them.
Lurch has been an MRA instructor in the past and i have been for the past 2 years and we can not sign off for MRA licenses.

OK - we need to take a look at the INSTRUCTOR part of this deal. We need 'serious' instructors, that have the experience and ability to teach a small group of potentially inexperienced track riders.

I have received numerous PM's expressing some concerns about the instructors experience and the number of instructors.

I am going to make a judgement call here and stick to my earlier posting of 20 students and 5 instructors. That way we have 5 groups of 4 students.

    So,

jplracing & zx6er, please don't take it personally, but the others were the first 5 to sign up as instructors and its really because of them offering to do that, that this whole thing is happening. You guys are more than welcome to sign up as part of the 20 students and pay your share to use the track with the rest of us. There will be advanced groups for people that already race and want to hone their skills.

If any of the other 5 instructors can't make it, then hopefully you will be available to fill in.

Here is the list as of now.

Lets see how many people sign up, but I would like to keep the numbers down so that we all have more personal instruction.
