Anybody on the board install remote starters or can recommended someone or some place? It is for a Scion XD which I believe uses a chip in the key. I would go to a Cartoys type of place however before I do that, I want to make sure there isn't a better deal out there.

I had one on my FJ Cruiser. It was awsome. I just went to car toys tho.
I did mine my self, on a 2005 Subaru Legacy with Chip key.. It wasnt bad but It wasnt easy eather.
I am not sure I have the patience to install this myself. There is a kit made for the xd which integrates with the existing key fob, I just need somebody in the know to properly install it. I will end up going to a car toys type place if I can't find somebody who can install it for less.
I used to manage a cartoys store for a couple years and I am telling ya its the best place to go for that kind of stuff. lifetime warranty on the instal and their insurance covers if anything screws up.
