I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

It kind of makes me wonder about the manufacturing of the bike a little.

That was a 100mph+ tumble. I doubt there is anything wrong with the manufacturing of the bike. It just broke off at the steering stem. I've seen it happen on other bikes.

Nothing a little duck tape won't fix though!

Yeah I dont think anyone can really say manufacturer defect on this one. That thing was haulin ass and just took the perfect tumble to destroy it in every way.

    Re: So Long 675

I wasn't suggesting a manufacturing defect. By all means, I have not seen every crash known to man, but out of the crashes I have seen, the front end doesn't usually separate like that. So I wonder if it was just that particular crash, or if there is a difference in design between Triumph and more standard Japanese bikes, that allows something like this to happen.

    I'm not cutting on the 675, I think it's a great bike.

I can't stop replaying this video! That bike just disassembles itself! Plastics, front end, swingarm and subframe, gas tank... This is like a ballet of destruction lol!
