    Registered at MHHD last night.
I didn't need to show ID, and my daughter didn't need to be there.
They gave me 2 red 1/2" dot stickers, and that was it.
(The same kind I use at work, so I might bring a few extra to VI... Just in case)
This has been the least painful registration for quite a few years.

    Angela and I registered!

Joe, if you can bring some extra dots, that would be great. I asked the receptionist at Sun HD and she didn't know anything about it. She gave me some LawTigers cards and said they are to get into the after party. They didn't have a lot of info on the ride itself.

In years past, they have handed out bandanas or arm bands or something to signify that you had pre-registered and signed the liability release form. You could always register there, but with thousand of bikes showing up, it's a mess. And yes, they stop people on the way in to the staging area to check. If you didn't have the "whatever", they would direct you to registration area. If you're with a big group, you just got separated.

SOOOO... this year, they hand me a little red sticker to put on my headlight to signify that I had pre-registered. I'm fairly confident that this could be a cluster^&*$ with different dealerships doing different things, but in the end it's about the kids and the Children's Hospital.

If someone wants to bring some extra dots, please do so. However, if you can, don't rely on them and go register. It helps with the counts and it's really not that hard.
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

    This should do it.

    OF COURSE [Disclaimer]...
This will be for the people who register and the dot(s) accidentally fall off on the way to Village Inn. [/Disclaimer]

I don't believe I am cheating anybody by doing this, and if it encourages more people to show up...

    Cool! Thanks Joe.

Can't wait to go shopping for the kids. If people want me to bring my panniers to help carry gifts or whatever, I can. But if no one speaks up, I'll probably leave them off. Unless I can think of a cool xmas design?

We're talking about possibly following in the car. If we do, we'd be happy to shuttle gifts.

Panniers are good for carrying extra clothing, warm layers might be required and shed later.

IIRC cars were slotted way at the back, so chances of us arriving same time as the CSC group may be slim. May figure something out though.

I was thinking about that too. Or if you want to hop on the back, Jeff? there's plenty 'o' room on the 9fiddy!

My wife may follow in a car too. She hasn't said for sure, but more than likely. If nothing else, it's more room for goodies. Me and 3 other friends signed up at Sun Harley, and all we got were dirty looks from the old guys and Law Tiger cards for the after party.

Where's your sense of adventure? Don't worry, most of my crashing takes place on the dirt...you should be fine.
