    Troops are coming home

Obama just announced that the troops will be home for the holidays and that the war in Iraq is "over".

Perhaps Metalord and myself should form a "Its just the intrawebz here look at some pictures and chill the fuck out" alliance (that ones for you zach) .. and Ej can supply the T&A.

I think this site is filled with an unusual amount of bullshit for this time of year. That nonsense needs to wait until the afternoon high is 30 degrees, not 68

I'm happy to see troops coming home

Don't get me wrong i would love to see the troops all come back and be were they belong with their families. However i was in the Military so i'm not so optimistic when things like such are said.

Wait......wasn't he supposed to have DONE this already? At least, that was what the shyster had claimed in his first election campaign. I guess he was too busy f#cking the economy up to get that done..........

    Maybe.

I could also say that there is a possibility that a few CRT riders will be lapped next season !

I think the ONLY reason the troops are coming home is cuz next year is a presidential election.

    Obama DESPERATELY NEEDS your support!!!!

    Re: Troops are coming home

They are being brought back because our immunity agreement is up, so yes you can believe it, there's no way we will have troops there come jan,1, 2012.

As for Obama being a 1 term president I doubt it. I'm not dead yet, but being the incumbent he has a huge advantage.

    Re: Troops are coming home

its going to be like every place we fight in, bring back MOST of our troops but still have bases and stationed militay "just in case". if you look at all our past wars, fights, helping other countries out you will see we still have troops there. not just a few either. i can hear it now "i brought back all our troops" when intern he means "i brought back all i said i would" but there are still a few thousand there.

    Re: Troops are coming home

He said all... They were going to leave 5-6k for training and support and Iraq would not extend the immunity timeline. Im sure some will stay in surrounding areas but they said 95% of the 41k are coming home and will be here for the holidays.

    Re: Troops are coming home

Was just reading that while all of the troops will be coming home, the State Dept will retain ~5500 "security contractors" as a diplomatic protection service, or some such shit.
