I am very curious to know whether or not he will use traction control (the electronic kind) instead of his usual "human traction control" system.

There is no other option on a modern GP bike. Electronic traction control is necessary to manage the peaky nature of the 800CC engine. After watching Lorenzo crash in practice because he forgot to reset the system I would venture to guess that an 800CC moto GP bike is not rideable without the TC. Certainly not ridable at the required pace.

So is that what happened to Lorenzo (@ Mazda Raceway) ? I saw that crash after his practice start at the end of that session but could not figure out why he highsided at what seemed like a relatively slow speed.
