Temp Gauge and Speedo BOTH not working

So my temp gauge went out yesterday and my speedo went out today.

When it rains it pours right!!??

I pulled the end of the speedo cable off the dial and kinda rode down the street and it's not spinning. Makes me think the hub in the front wheel is bad. (that's where the speed comes from). One note on that, I just had TK install tires last week, is it possible they broke something?


Problem number two:
Temperature gauge is not working. It seems like the thermostat is working though, because the fan kicked on and off at different points today when I was coming home from work. Any ideas???

Pull the inner cable out of the jacket to see if it is intact. They get old and corroded and they will twist in half.
