    Planning my next trip

Got a wedding to attend in Florida next June so I'm getting ready making notes as to what needs to be done on the bike (gotta fix that headlight short) as well as getting my gear together and checked. I need to check and make sure my new sleeping pad works in the old tent. I got the guy sized REI pad which may be a tad too tall (may be) for the tent.

And a map of course. See I plan on taking three weeks. So here to Maine, across Canada to Vancouver. Then south to San Diego. Then an IronButt 50cc (coast to coast in 50 hours) to St. Petersburg. A quick run south to Key West then back up to Tampa for the wedding, then a leisurely ride back to Denver by way of Tulsa for a quick visit to an aunt.

    Should be lots of fun.

If your going to Maine, maybe a stop at the Harley Museum in Milwaukee then north to Escanaba and through the U.P. of Michigan? Sounds like a sweet trip

    Re: Planning my next trip

I took I-80 out towards Des Moines then 63 north up into Minnesota to hwy 16. Nice area through North East Iowa. Then Hwy 14 in Wisconsin. the 55mph speed limit sucks and it smells like Dairy Air but its nice. Nice people and places. I parked my ZX9 smack in the middle of the Harley Sheild at the Museum and caught little shit...All kidding. From Milwaukee I took 43 north through Green Bay and then caught 41 headed towards 35. Hwy 35 is awesome. Follows the coast of Lake Michigan into Escanaba. From there, you can zigzag your way through the U.P. I like whitefish Point personally but theres a ton of cool spots up there. From then on, I havent ridden a bike east being that far North. Also had to get there in 3 days so not much time to cruise. Enjoy the trip!
