    Question about turn signals

I know what the law says about turn signals - they're not necessary on motorcycles because they're under the minimum width to require signals, but as I understand it, if you don't have them you must use hand signals.

I have turn signals on the rear of my bike, but not the front.

So do I use half a hand signal?

Seriously, anyone know how the law might interpret this? I don't use hand signals (because of the rear signals) and I've never been bothered about it, but I always wonder what oncoming traffic thinks when I'm turning, and what if it were a cop looking at me from the front as I'm turning?
    "I'm not listening.
    You keep talking.
    How weird is that?"
