It sure is good riding weather for January.

Does that mean it's going to be like this in April?

I sure hope not but Mrs. Clovis and I were talking the other day how we've had a very mild winter so far.

With some heated gear you can ride comfortably pretty much anywhere right now.

I fear it will be but hope not. Hopefully my bike is done soon to go out for a long ride. Been having some serious withdrawals lol

I went ahead and ordered my heated jacket liner (to go with my heated gloves) along with the wiring. Assuming the jacket liner fits and doesn't need to be exchanged I'll be riding

We almost always do, for a couple weeks. Though we also already had that last month, so who knows.

Historically we do get most of our snow storms in March and April.

    Spring time blizzards.

I am loving the mild winter as well! I went out for a short ride sunday and as soon as I got outside of the houses (north of 144th) the wind was insane, so I ended it shortly. Still nice to get out on the bike for a little bit and get my fix

I want snow. Lots of it. Tons. Enough to bury half of Denver in an hour. Bring it.

Haha, I thought you might like that.

Where you here during the Blizzard of 1997? Humvee trucks from Carson roaming the streets looking for abandoned cars with people inside. I could go for that again but then I want clear roads and sunny days

Nah. No need for snow here. Maybe in the high country, but don't need that stuff on the roads to ruin my commute.

It's bad when even Humvees with chains are getting stuck... I definitely remember that. Our neighbor was a missionary in Guam at the time, visiting home, so she made sure to take lots of pictures for the kids over there, most of whom had never seen snow in their life. We also almost had to call one of the ambulance Humvees because her asthma kicked in...

The Z has been very happy with the weather so far, but I too am concerned that March and April are going to be snowy.

Nice thing about March and April snow is that it's usually gone the next day. Even if it dumps a foot.
