I'd run it if the short block is good. You can always stroke and poke later.

I'm with FZRguy. Get a decent cam and some nice flowing heads on it, and it'll definitely work. Then if nothing else you can buy a block that needs serious work and start from scratch on it.
I've been looking for this style block since Oct! haha. the only setback w the short block is cast and huge dish in the pistons, 58 cc heads will yield right around 9.3:1

Yeah, kinda low comp but you can run regular. Mill the heads and use a thin head gasket for a bit more.
