    The footage is from different laps spliced together - in some of the shots of the fork there is a zip tie on it, and in others there isn't.

    I love finding continuity breaks like that!

    That being said, Jason is a super great guy and a fantastic teacher. If you have the chance to take a school with him you should.

    He used to be a top 3 AMA rider, what happened to him?

    He's still up there, IMO. He won the first 3 races last year, then he had some crashes and the 848 had to add some weight. He is racing the 675R for Latus motorsports this year in the daytona sportbike class. The class is really close with the GSXR600s doing very well last year, hopefully the others will step up more to keep suzuki from dominating. Having said that, the class is incredibly close and I think some of the best racing to watch.

    He continues to be an excellent professional racer, doing very will in Daytona Sportbike last year. Additionally he took a stint for a year in World Supersport.

    I would say that he's on his game.
