    Dyno tune shop recommendation??

Well...i'm itching to ride and cant wait to stop modding the jeep and "put it away" for the season

I'm going to be cracking out a few maintenance things on my R6 tomorrow but that got me thinking of some mods i need to do for the start of season...

i'm in desperate need of a tune and will be wanting to do that almost first thing...

Anyone have a recommendation for a shop to go to?

    thanks in advance!!

Dyno tune? Spark plug replacement type tune? There's a lot of tunes out there.

A good custom tune is good for any bike, if you can afford it.

I nutted up and bought my own datalogger + PC3 so I can tune myself where ever I go. But if you aren't the type to be moving/traveling very often, a dyno tune will usually suffice.

Epic/Sisneros Speedworks up north or Faster in Denver.

Boulder Motorsports has a dyno they use to tune bikes. Nice guys too. They tend to be brand specific but maybe they would be able to assist you if you.

Hibs thats not the reason I was asking the question. I've always use the dyno for tuning and testing. I asked the question to Owen to determine if the bike was stock or modded and why felt it wasnt running correctly. If he doesn't have a PC, Bazzaz or YEC kit ecu, etc, he won't be able to tune it.

    BMS is Ducati only.

Best bet is what Bueller said; Epic up north or Faster here in town.

Currently running LOR with header, super flare velocity stacks, pc3, bmc race filter, +4 ignition advancer, smog block offs, and a couple other things i'm forgetting...

it was tuned in Iowa at 500 ft above sea level and is now running a bit rough at 5000 so want to tune for the new elevation as well as the block offs and advancer which were not previously on the bike when first tuned...

Unless you have a PCV and AutoTune it's pretty key to find someone who not only has a dyno but knows how to use it.

Another vote for Eddie up at Epic/Sisneros in Longmont.

OP, I hope you don't mind a bit of a thread jack. I am also in need of a tune for my R6 and think epic would be a good bet. Would you guys recommend Epic for other mechanical work as well. I have a chain and sprockets that I'd like to have installed. I would also like to have my brake lines bled. While they're at it I'd like to have them give the bike a once over to make sure its ready for the track.

Do you think Epic is a good choice for all this?

    Thanks,
    Matt

Does Performance Cycle on Broadway still dyno bikes? I had my Interceptor done there a LONG time ago, so don't know if they still do.

No, they sold their dyno over 10 years ago.
