    bin Laden in British Superbikes
A MEMBER of the bin Laden family is joining British Superbikes in 2012.

Saudi Arabian racer Abdul aziz bin Laden will join Scott Smart, racing a Ducati 1199 Panigale with the Moto Rapido team in the top flight.

Abdul aziz bin Laden is a two-time United Arab Emirates superbike champion. His family run the Saudi Binladen Group (SBG), a global oil conglomerate, grossing over £3 billion pounds anually.

Abdul aziz is a a third-generation member of the bin Laden family, Osama bin Laden was a second-generation member - disowned by the family in 1994 after speaking out against the US preparations for the Gulf War.

Abdul aziz bin Laden competed in a handful of Superstock 1000 rounds last year on a BMW S10000RR and said: “I’m very proud to take part in BSB for what Saudi Falcons see as the fastest-growing Superbike series in the world."

Good for him. A man has to have a passion in life.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Ok, this is just too damned funny or ironic or something. Some things need to be said...not sure what, but I'll start with this:
What if he turns his bike into a superstock bomb? (its a joke.)
I wonder if he had to "buy" his ride. In these tough economic times, you have to own some oil wells to be able to afford to go racing at the world level....hahahahahaaha.
Aziz kinda sounds like a kick ass name...why not dump the bin laden name and just go with Abdul Aziz?
    "Insert clever/inspirational quote here."

I have a couple of bikes, they are fun.
