shouldn't be movement in sprocket carrier, correct?

Working on a friend's Hayabusa. Took the rear wheel off, and you can grab the sprocket carrier and move it maybe 1/2" front/back in the wheel. Thinking those 6 bushings underneath it are just worn out, as I've never seen a sprocket carrier move around like that. Sound about right?

It is meant to give in rotation only. Without the axle torqued in place and the wheel mounted in the swingarm to force the movement in the rotational direction only, you can't make assumptions on the give of the bushings.

Sounds like the bushings are definitely worn. Time to replace them.
