On a day like this, you're probably lucky to have no windows. I've been sitting at a desk all day getting teased by this beautiful day

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

I don't know the area so I I-70 to I-270 to I-25 to Hwy 34 turned left to Sandy's gas station. lol I got there at 1130ish from DIA. Then I got petro and headed up to Estes. Grabbed lunch at McD's then went down Hwy 36 into Lyons. Then rode up Hwy 7 and back still nobody. So decided to head back into town and then detailed my bike. Not that bad of a day, would of been more fun if I would of ran into other riders though...

Sorry I missed this! I basically did this ride solo today. I met another rider a few miles before Nederland on 119 and rode with him for a couple of hours.

P2P (aka 119) was in pretty good shape - not much sand but some slick spots from snow melt.

Hwy 7 was pristine. No sand, no wet spots, the highlight of the route! I clicked off a bit over 400 miles, not a bad season opener!

Was a good ride, and Sal you were right, the ride up to that Pinewood Lake was sweet...
