Question about "New Posts" feature.

So if I click on the New Posts button, obviously it does what it's supposed to and brings up everything that's been posted since I last visited.

The question comes in when a lot of times it'll also come up with a 2nd section that says "These threads have not been updated since your last visit, but still contain unread posts." Not sure how it can contain an unread post when it hasn't been updated. Would a technophile please explain this to me?

I dunno, but I might suggest that you try the Quicklinks >Today's Posts as it seems to keep a larger list and goes back a little farther to posts you may have missed.
