And she called me on the phone crying pretty uncontrollably... I guess she thought it was me.

I obviously didn't get too much in the way of the details, because I was doing my best to just calm her down and let her know that I was fine, and everything was alright, etc.. She was crying so badly when I picked up, I thought she was calling to say that something had happened to our parents!

Anyhow... She told me that it was "really bad", but like I said, I didn't pry for details.

I guess Godspeed to the fallen rider. =\ Be safe out there, everybody... This call just scared me sober.

I've almost been nailed more times today than I have since January. In the space of 1 block I had 2 idiots try to pull out in front of me; a mile later I was pushed out of my lane by an idiot not looking (and over a solid white line no less); and I had a bitch in my neighborhood that couldn't wait for the pickup in front of her to go, so as I'm turning onto my street, she whips around him, sees me, doesn't stop, and continues around him, coming within 2 feet of my evasive action...

It got so bad that I was swearing the next person that tried to kill me was getting a mirror removed or a dent put in their door.

If I see the bitch in the neighborhood again, I'm going after her.
