wait, not everyone gets up from a motorcycle crash? they must being doing it all wrong or something. just making light or the seriousness, but I can't but help bad for the ones that don't get up. I believe it is an assumed risk getting on a motorcycle all together. Risk goes up when you are moving on the public roads and what PPE you decide to wear. sad days.

Riding without a helmet... play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Last weekend I rode past 6 Harleys just outside of Evergreen on my way to Central City and not one was wearing a helmet.
They all had sunglasses, bandanas and a grimice face and none of them waved back, lol.
"If not us, who? If not now, when?"
Someone recently reminded me (I know this in the back of the my head, but never really thought about it) that a large number of Harley riders are former military. A person who's served in Iraq or Afghanistan likely has a different perception of "risk" than I do.
