    New bike

    Hi Everyone,

I just got a new to me 2007 yz450f, and I would like to be able to ride it on forest service land. I have the stock silencer with a spark arrestor end cap. Will this silencer be quiet enough? Thanks for the replies

Depends. You'll rarely see the ranger out there with the decibel meter. I would do it but that's your call...

Stock OEM silencer + arrestor should be fine.

Repack the silencer, it is a few years old so it likely needs to be done anyways. Fresh packing =< noise and better performance

Be more aware of other riders and ATVs coming at you as all trails are two-way, and you can't hear them coming....unless you stop and listen for them. The number one reason I want an electric trail bike. By the time I get one, probably crash into another electric bike coming the other way.
