I have an 01 Kawasaki ZX9 and I was hoping to get a battery a little cheaper than the store. $44 + core is the cheapest so far. If you have one or know where I can get one cheaper I would be interested.

Probably won't find a good battery for cheaper then $44.
BUT... i have a YTX14-BS from my '00 12R that I'll just give you. It was drained down a little from sitting over winter, gave me a slow crank when I fired my bike up first time after sitting for two months. But it did fire it up. I had been wanting to upgrade to a Lithium battery anyways so I just bought new. This one, if charged up, would probably last all summer if you're riding the bike regularly.

I sold the bike with a new battery in it. I would take your old one off your hands if you still want to? I have a dirt bike that needs a head light.
