CBR 600rr GP shift kit AKA Reverse shift pattern

Subject and description pretty much summed it up. So for you Honda 600rr riders .. anyway to reverse the shift patttern with out spending much money.

    Thanks

    Mike

If you take the top lever that clamps on to the shaft and flip it so it points to the front it will be gp shift. The only thing you have to do is move the couple of hoses out of the way. I haven't personally done it but thats what others are doing.

Nah... just would rather it be the same as my race bike so I dont get out to the track and shift the wrong way.
Thanks for the info.. I was lookin at it last night it.. it looks like you can flip it like I did my GSXR.. but like you said you need to move some hoses.

    Thanks

Actually, recently they came out with a brand new invention called aftermarket rearsets....

I was just telling him that instead of cheaping out and Jimmy-rigging it he might as well buy something that won't cause it to stick or fall off.

I just thought it was funny that he said 'without buying rearsets' and your post said 'get some rear sets'.

Hey Mike Im pretty sure U already got this sorted out but yes its super easy. U can flip it just like the Gixxer. Both Alan and Rich have 600RR's and we flipped them inside of 15 minutes. Need to zip tie those hoses back a little to avoid rubbing and you are good to go. Just have to adjust the height of the lever a little once U flip it over.

    Yami riders:

I also did this to my R1. Just need to shim the rearset out about 4 mm's and rotate the shift arm over as well..... Its a good idea to buy longer bolts to go into the frame as well to avoid tom uch weight on the short bolt) Total sot is less than 4.00 bucks
(Should anyone with an R1 read this)
