Thats what I was thinking but do you think the copter could stay that steady under machine gun fire? I think it would deflect more and be almost uncontrollable...?
Some of those quad-rotors have sophisticated electronics along with them so I could see this being very possible. Lets see if I can find a video showing this.

I don't think it's for Diablo 3. If it is indeed marketing for a game, it would probably be for Black Ops 2. BlOps2 has a trailer relase tomorrow or Weds.
recoil is never as amazing as people think it is, and if those fans can compensate for wind gusts and everything else (as they must to keep in flight) then I bet it can be done--and I'm sure our military is figuring out just how possible it is even as we speak.
Yeah, Diablo 3 isn't the right game, BO2 would make more sense--except the time period is wrong. Then again, they have the RC XD so maybe this is the new upgrade for that...

From what I've read about the game and seen on YouTube, there's supposed to be a quad-rotored mini chopper you control somewhere in the game and probably used in online play. And you are correct. The mini-copter is supposedly replacing the RC-XD.

Just shows a quad-rotor fighting wind on its own and being smacked around a little. I'm sure if it would be holding 100 rounds of ammo and an assault rifle it would need to be larger though :P

After the disappointment of MW3 I've not been too interested in BO2, but swapping the copter for XD makes sense.

+1 My MW3 has been sitting in its case collecting dust for the last 6 months i'll prob never play it again, Ive been pissing people off by sniping in BF3
i think its fake, the way the gun's mounted, it would have kicked down and back, not up and back like it did. This is on the way no doubt
Edit: after watching the entire thing, the smoke that it goes through is never displaced, and when you look at the shadows at 3:55 they are at diff angles.
