I'm told the RC45 is out of the crate and never cranked beyond the factory. The guy at FM said they were looking for $60K. The NR is probably close to twice that.

What I like most about this bike, is that although there is an overstated "bling" about it that can stand to be toned down a bit, it still looks to be a reasonable performer. It doesn't look like a purpose built drag-bike with a +2ft stretch, or boulevard Queen, with skulls and fire and brimstone in every detail. It loooks like what it is... a custom 'Busa.

The trickery and "effects" within the bike design are eye catching, and the performance bolts-ons are anything but abnormal. So yeah... while there are certainly things I would change slightly, I think it's pretty well done. I like the way the paint and graphics "slims" the bike, compared to most 'Busas I've seen. My .02.

I know it can perform. While I've never owned one, I've ridden them. I've also owned a 1100XX and a ZX-14 so I know a bit about hyperbikes. There's no doubt these bikes can do the ton times two.

Ok, my thought is that the NR should be on the top step.

I went down there SO wanting to look at it, but it was gone maybe a day beofe I got there, dammit! But, I DID get to drool all over the new Panigale.

As Jenny put it, the Strada is Pug Ugly... Owners love 'em, but that's about it...

As for the ZX-14. I regretted buying that bike within two weeks of doing the deal. I traded my Sprint St for it and longed to get it back. The bike was a big fat pig that love to go right from 0 to ludicrous speed before you knew it. However, it didn't do anything else well...

And, to make it worse, I ripped off the stock pipes and put on M4 drags! It was absurd.

The Sprint was such a better bike (for me)... But that's the cool thing about motorcycles. There's something out there for everyone.
