Also agree with Jay. Having shorts and a t-shirt on doesn't make u a terrible rider. Crossing double yellows or things of that nature does imo.

Now I'm gonna tell you about an accident and I don't want to hear "Act of God".
Squid = Riding w/out gear (Technically While doing crazy stuff) but...
Noob = Crossing Double yellows, wheelies, ect.
NewB = New to riding
This is how I've grown to learn the terms, correct me if incorrect ? And what the heck, add some

A squid is a relatively subjective term. On the one hand, as Jay mentioned, there are riders that make stupid and reckless decisions which endanger themselves and others. On the other hand, there are people that recognize the value of wearing gear. Certainly, wearing gear is no guarantee of safety. However, it's not a stretch to think that riding without gear is also a stupid and reckless decision. While it may not endanger others, riding without gear is a markedly unwise decision due to the personal consequences should the unforeseen occur.
Having crashed and nearly died while wearing gear, I am still grateful I had it. I know I would have died without it, and as such, I will never feel comfortable riding a motorcycle without it. While others may feel comfortable riding in a tank-top and flip-flops, I can't help but cringe at the thought of what could happen should they crash. That said, it's their life, and their choice. Therefore, they're free to do as they please. However, and no offense intended, I will never be convinced that it's not a foolish decision to ride without gear.
Who new riding sportbikes on the street would provoke such unruly traffic habbit's? Who are these "wheelies" people speak of? What are these "passing on double yellow"?
