As it turns out, per this site. Those who are unaffiliated have until Tuesday, May 29th to pick another political party.

The wife and I got ours as well. Don't know about her, but no plans for me, to "affiliate" anytime soon. Just so we're clear though, vote Barack Obama 2012.
Mitt could probably be his HOA's President, but beyond that, I'm not so sure...
