    Mudbuggin With Metz REVISITED 6-18-12

Going tonight. This is an open invite I'll be there either way. Different place and this one has high reviews.

Gonna go get my mudbug on. Been wanting to try it for awhile. They do offer other seafood as well as Pho if you want something else.

Enjoy, I can't make it but from your quick description I had to check out the menu. I have to say I have never seen a Cajun/vietnamese menu before!

Looks interesting, prices seem surprisingly reasonable, let me know how it is.

Just think of it as eating big, waterborne insects, and I'm sure that'll help.

I got mildly freaked out eating fresh seafood in Hokkaido, Japan--the crab was sliced in half but still twitching its eye stalks when they brought it over for you to cook at your table...yeah...I like things without creepy eye stalks looking at me when I'm trying to boil it...

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

Cajun & Vietnamese in the same place? One of the stranger combos I've heard of.

Apparently the mudbugs are big with the Vietnamese.

The best part of crawfish boils, are the potatoes, corn on the cob, smoked sausage, and the beer. The "'dads" themselves are kinda forgetable... perhaps it's a cultural thing.

    Anyway... Enjoy, Kyle!

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

The whole process is fun though (if you're not squeamish). I don't "suck the heads", that's too fishy tasting for me. I prefer my mudbugs with the work already done. Like in the crawfish etoufee' at Bayou Bob's, or a cup of their crawfish bisque. So rich, mmmmmm.

Best Cajun meal I've had was at Bob's: Cajun-Blackened Ribeye steak (med.rare), smothered in Crawfish Etoufee', WOW.
