Can't seem to find a local shop.

I live in Parker and although Performance kicks ass on inventory, customer service and pricing it's an hour there and back. And although Fay is much closer I don't won't to pay double for everything. Is there anybody close by, Parker, Rastle Cock, Franktown, etc that can do routine tire changes and has the basics in stock, oil filters, oil, chain lube, spark plugs, etc?

Fay's going to be the closest...

Your other options are to head into Aurora: Vickery, Aurora Honda, Motorcycle Depot.. but again, you're commuting.

It's up to you to decide what your time is worth. Pay extra @ fay, or spend time on the road...

Yea, it's a moto wasteland down in Parker, and part of the reason I do all my maintenance myself and order online. I do have a bead breaker and tire irons down here if you want to borrow them sometime.

And it's close to your work . I would just call ahead to see if they have what you need. I know they stock some helmets,
oil, gloves, jackets (limited), etc., as well as change tires and do motorcycle work.

Only thing I don't do myself is tires since I don't have a tire machine jack ass.
Although, for this reason I'm in the market for one if the deal is right.

I'll check them out since that is close to work.

I called Mile High HD in Parker and they said they don't have the right "equipment" to do Sportbike wheels/tires. Not sure what the big difference is. Maybe by "equipment" they mean the desire to. All Harley all the time?

Funny because I've done HD, dual sport, dirt bike, and sportbike tires all on the same machines...

I live around a mile from performance and have some tools to take your wheels off here, stands, torque wrench and such. Only thing is, I do all my work in a parking garage under my building :P Might save on cage gas that way.

As for oil, oil filters and plugs, try Autozone. They have all 3 for bikes now, at half the price of performance for the same parts (in the case of oil and plugs).
