    Exclamation The PERFECT Bike hauler

    Not really.

I'd post pics, but that'd spoil the joy of clicking.

    Only $3,000!!!!!

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

And a chrome-look gas cap cover!

If I had $3k to wildly piss into the wind, I still wouldn't buy this...

    +1 @Ghost.

Just think of what amazing things that could be accomplished if all that time, energy, sweat equity, etc. was put towards a good cause. Or at least a viable cool project like a motor swap, ratrod, or whatever.

Yup. Even as "little" as $3k is, you could do a lot more with it than this, hell $3k in a junkyard could get you some awesome "junk" to rebuild...$800 1988 Fiero GT, I'm looking at you.

    Re: The PERFECT Bike hauler

Don't be so quick to call it badass. It currently resides in a real piece of shit Fiero. But it is a dream of mine to someday buy a really nice Fiero once again and do another engine swap. The Fiero is a weird car. It is plagued with design flaws, it weighs 1,000 lbs more than it should, it handles like absolute shit, it's unsafe, gets poor gas mileage somehow, has horrible brakes, and has one of the worst interiors ever put in a car.

But there's something about it that makes the drive a truly breathtaking experience. I'm not sure what it is, but the night I picked the car up, I was on cloud 9. It was all stock, down to even the radio. But I could have driven that car across the country (Not like it'd make it). To this day there are only a few cars that can do this to me, and in all of them it is simply because their performance blows my mind. To those who have not driven a Fiero, you're truly missing out. That's all!

I drove my uncle's 1984 Fiero 2M4 a few times when he lived in FLA. When he moved to NY he offered to give it to me, but I had no place to keep it. Pity too, as it was a unique car--it overheated on me 2-3x, and the interior has the most idiotic layout of anything I've ever seen, but it was cool in its own way. I always preferred the look of the 1988 Fiero GT, but at that point I'd probably just get an MR2...

Yep, I have no idea why, but they're a hoot! Maybe the spaceship-like cockpit? Got my first "Speed Contest" ticket when I was in highschool, in my Dad's red '84 Fiero. I actually thought that thing handled awesome, like a car much lighter than you'd think. But like you said, I'd steer towards an 2g MR2 nowadays though.

(I guess I lost, since the cops only pulled me over and the black Chevelle got away.)

Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.

That would be the Herkimer Battle Jitney from Mystery Men. One of the best movies that no one has ever seen

But, if I had to have the absolutely most badass post apocaplypse tank car thing, there's only one to consider... that would be the Landmaster from Damnation Alley. It's got freakin rockets!

My zombie plan is to go to Carson and steal one of these:

Gas mileage is reasonable for an armored vehicle and tracked vehicles are too labor intensive and fuel consuming. Also maneuverability is not much worse than a truck.
