Late at night with open HW, I could see myself getting way up there like that, if even only for a few seconds. I understand the pay-to-play bit.

Now doing wheelies and drifting a bike 2-up with somebody elses health at stake, I'm not going to defend. Especially doing bigtime speed where something totally accidental could down you both. It's A.) not really that impressive for starters and B.) both rider and passenger look a bit like doucheholes the more and more they do it. And really... who likes hanging out with d-holes (?).

Re: The story of last nights run in with the law!

Ha! thanks... It's funny too, because I was just daydreaming poetic the other day thinking how language has evolved over the years in society. And I use the word "evole" loosely. But yeah, something started me thinking about how certain things are slightly funnier and more pungent when suffixed with "hole". Normally I don't get too much of a kick out of crude putdowns or whatever, but obviously calling somebody an "ass" as an insult one day morphed (by virtue of popular usage) into "asshole". For some reason the word "douche" popped into my head. It's probably going to be my Newton Moment for my 30's.

First, cop cars are not fast, that I can assure you. My Crown Vic struggles to do 125. The Chargers are quick, but still not anywhere near fast.

I'm not going to preach against riding this fast, because first of all it'd be hypocritical, and secondly I won't change any of your habits. But, at night it is even more stupid. You cannot see road imperfections or debris until the last second, way too late to react. If you must do 155mph, I think there's a place that's well suited for it. It's called Bandimere. Or PMI if you're poor.

Its not how fast you go, its how little you slow down.

+1 about the increased danger at night. My accident in May (suicidal raccoon) was at 9:30pm on a road with no street lights in a 6 man group. And I was only rolling about 50mph.

Just my opinion, but its never a good idea to hang around stunters or speeders (pro riders as they may be) if you expect to not go down in flames with them when the LEOs show up. Guilt by association strongly applies. I mean, even if youre not gay, riding the float in the pride parade will properly confuse alot of people.

posting details about that and details (green neons really? ) on a public message forum is a GREAT idea.
