I'm no sumo guy, but from my limited dirt experience, you may want to get up on the pegs when riding off road? It gives you a lot more control.

Fun indeed, and just as a side note if you don't laugh at the part of me eating dirt then there is something wrong with you. You can hear me laugh when i hit the ground so you should be laughing too.

I don't know anything about motocross technique, but that pic is motocross, not sumo. And if I were going to stick my leg right next to my front wheel, I would want to be wearing motocross boots and on a 210lb bike, not a 340lb.

You don't always have to put the foot out. If you trail brake the line foot shouldn't have to come down. Just if its real loose.

I don't know much about sumo technique but from what I've seen it seems to carry over.
