Somewhere around 15 people I feel like and it wasn't clusterfucky at all.

Would totally be in if the 929 didn't need engine work, which I just found out about.

Zach, sorry about your bike being not ridable. Perhaps the next one.

A bit more info for anybody on the fence. As stated, there is usually between 8-16 riders, of varing capabilities, from newbs looking to expand thier horizons, to long time old farts, like myself looking for a bit of peace from riding. You will find a place in the pack, so to speak, by the first stop.

I start the ride with a very, very short speal on my expectations from the group. And that's it, we ride.

My group talk is about being a douche, and how that is not tolorated, and my riding buddy system, and how the group dynamics should be.
I have sent people packing, so just don't be a douche, and you will have a great ride.
Show up looking for a great time, and you will be watching fireworks that night with a grin, totally spent from having such a good time all day.

    See you'all in BV!

+1 to what Bash said. Well ran by him and a pace that is spot on for 500 miles through varies counties over a whole day. Saw some awesome scenery last year and very sad I can't go again. Granted, one of the first long ones I did but one of the best I have ever done. Rolled into the garage with 504 miles on the trip meter.

I do remember Hotchkiss the best. Hot. As. Hell.

If only the 4th didn't fall on a workday, I'd be out there with you, Basher. Enjoy your ride and let me know if there's anything you need help with.

You could tell your workmate on the Kawi Concourse to come give us a escort.

I tried to get my sheperds in at their kennel but they were booked up. I would very much liked to have rode this one. Some other time.

This might fall into the stupid question zone, but does the 500 miles include the 100 mi run from town to BV?

My old buddy Fatkid from Denver is looking for some of you northern folks to ride into Buena Vista in the morning. Somebody from Denver post up if you are going to go on this so that he might meet up and ride in with you, thanks!

For the rest of everybody, if you dont want to eat be @ Jan's ready to ride @ 9AM. Otherwise it gives everybody else an hour to eat and get prepared to ride.

    See you'all in the morning!

Or, if I oversleep I'll see you there at 9 =P
