Actually we look and there was no tracks from the truck in the dirt. So he went airbornefrom that upper parking lot. I'm betting that was a hell of ride.

damn, glad the truck was not a couple mph faster to clear the deck, that would have been a bad turnout.

Wow, that's nuts. I live off of Murray and Airport, and there are CONSTANTLY dirvers going through fences and into backyards/houses in the Crestline neighborhood right there bordering the S turns on Murray. Every holiday someone crashed through the fence, sometimes in more than one spot. Im certain there will be one Wednesday night/thurs morning as well.

That's what you get for living on the center line of a busy road...

Srsly, you should be allowed to keep the truck, get everything fixed, AND legally beat the shit out of the guy.

Really glad no one was hurt man.

    I'd keep the truck.

At the very least I would have dumpped any soda or sugar I had in the house into the gas tank before the po po arrived. Also, I would have looked for any aftermarket radios, amps, radar detector, and kept them. Just sayin

I'm Sure you got a shit ton of Hidden Damage.. Frame Damage to your house has got to be huge.. The Force of that truck hitting the deck had to go some where... Threw the deck into the Structure of the house.. lets hope it didnt damage the foundation

90% of the force went into the ground about ten feet out from the deck. The truck first impacted in the middle of the yard hard enough to rip the front tow hooks clean off.

    Re: F drunk drivers!!!!!!

The selling issue can get really strange. It happened to me along time ago, I traded in an old beater for a truck. About 6 months later I get a letter from the Aurora PD about an abandoned car. Before I did anything I went out and looked and sure enough it was my old car. Lakewood Ford had wholesaled it to a used car lot and when they sold it (presumably for cash) the new owner never titled it. When they ran the VIN they got my name, I explained it to the cops and that was the last I ever heard.

In summary your name stays linked to the VIN until the new owner titles it.
