If it's for noobs, I may join too and bust my group ride cherry. Dumb question but how are people usually dressed? Full leathers? Jeans?
I wear jeans and over the anxle work type boots, with mesh jacket, gloves, and a helmet. I think it's crazy to ride without enough protection
Ahh gotcha, didn't know if it was expected to rock the 1pc or if jeans were fine.
I personally don't care what you wear because im not your dad and you are not my responsibility, however its not my ride so.....
I think Christi prefers, at a minimum, jacket, helmet and gloves.Or you can dress as Grim does, chaps without his Underoos and covered in cookies.

On a more serious note, I will send you home if you do not have a helmet. I don't care what you ride on your own time, but I am not watching your head splat into a tree should you dare break rule #1. You will get a very disapproval bunny look from me for no jacket and/or gloves, but still welcome to ride. Other than that, the more gear the better, but it's your skin and do what you like. I will reserve the right to laugh my ass off while you are taking a scrubber brush to your skin to dig the gravel out.
