I just got back from California and rode 1300 miles on the return leg. I documented and will turn in 1100 miles of it to IBA. Fun stuff.

Excellent! Kudos to you, sir. We're taking a scenic route back to CO when we go, but we're also going to be staying overnight so we're not complete zombies when we get back. Like we were when we got here. Where in cali did you go?

Met up with my nephew as well as LA and San Diego buddies. We did a tour of a bunch of southern California's twisty roads. We also rode PCH from Hearst Castle to as far as it goes south. Did the obligatory Mulholland Drive ride with a stop at the Rock Store. Most fun I've had in a looooooong time.

    Yeah.

I tried a "throttle lock" on my trip. Everyone I talked to about it loved the thing, I just couldn't get it to work. More of a frustration than a helper. Coulda just been my the SV grips. I dunno. Was this style

that's more what i'm looking for. It's the same style my dad has and has used on most of his bikes over the years. Always has good luck with them. Supposed to go to a shop and check em out in the next couple days.

I have the Throttlemeisters on my VFR and love them. They are a bit more expensive but also a more elegant solution since they look like normal bar ends.

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
