Where are you? I had to replace mine when I crashed a year ago (CBR1KRR '09). It's a bitch but doable...

Do you have the shop manual? I'm the Springs. It's easy, just can be frustrating. What year is it?

I'm not opposed to looking, there's not much I can't handle with the right tools. Do you have the tools, I plan to be up there for the bike night and I could swing by.

Basically, you need to take of the top shelter, gas tank, and airbox. Remove or cut the old cable and put the new ones in. Be careful of the idle set screw, I wasn't and I had to readjust it to stop it from idling rough. Also have to open up the throttle cover, that's easy.

I've got basic tools for basic bike maintenance...I.e Wrenches and sockets.., fpr oil. brakes, etc...If there is anything special you recommend I'll go get it...

Last time I just needed pliers and allen keys. I'm surprised no one else offered to help, if you PM me your address/phone I'll try to swing by when it's convenient for you tomorrow. I'll also bring some of my own tools.
