If you're coming from Boulder, probably best to meet in Montrose, co.

We're leaving from Boulder early Friday morning. I expect we'll be in Montrose between 12 and 1. I have no idea when you guys will be arriving. If we meet up, cool. If not, no prob. We'll ride our own ride, so even if we do all meet up, we may split up if our riding styles aren't compatible. We aren't squids and have many, many miles under our belts, so if you guys are riding like morons, then have fun.

    Good to know.

I think it's just 3 to 4 of us. All though i may have to reschedule myself depending on work this week.

FWIW I ride 15 to 20k miles per year and this will be my 6th multi day trip of the season.

Working up a contingency plan in the event you can't make it. I am considering riding to and staying in Alpine, Az friday. Ride the loop, then off to Gallup, Nm on saturday. Sunday ride home by way of hwy 145. Seeing as you have been done this before any insight would be appreciated. The budget is limited but I think I can still do it for $300. I won't have to ride as far as you guys would. Thanks, and I hope you can make it.

We are staying at Hampton Inn in Gallup on Friday night via Montrose, Ouray, Durango. We plan to make it to Farmington on Saturday night.

Drago, when you say "we" are you including Neutron or someone else?

Update for me - I need new tires, I ordered them earlier but they won't get delivered until Friday. I checked with Apex (local dealer) but they do not have any Pilot Road 2s, just 3s.

I can see about getting those.

Be aware the only hotels in Alpine are lodges and they're limited/expensive. I would stay in Gallup for night 1 and Grants, NM night 2.

Yeah, it's a great weekend. We got a bit of rain/sleet (over mountain passes) when we went in April.

It doesn't look like Clovis can make it. I'm staying in Gallup, Nm both nights at the Red roof Inn. I'll ride 550 there and take 145 home. I wouldn't mind meeting up at least for the ride to Alpine, Az on saturday morning. You guys can decide after that if you want to ride the loop with me or bail. I'll shoot you a pm with my number.

That was completely worth it. Wow. It was good riding with you, Neutron. I may have to do this next year as well.
