    Anybody going to Sturgis??

    Just wandering if anyone is planning on going to sturgis. I might leave tomorrow morning...

    everyone I know who was going has already left...

    Pirate culture aside, there are some great roads up there.

    Some day, I'll go check it out, but not this year.

    +1 on the great roads. I did a couple of days riding in the Black Hills back in May, using Spearfish as a base. Truly some spectacular riding there.

    I took a detour through Sturgis on the way back from the Badlands, just to say I had been there. Weird place, with what seemed like a totally out-of-proportion number of huge biker bars. It's like this perfectly nice little South Dakota town agreed to have this other identity grafted on to itself, to ensure its continuing survival.
