No One loves me and I couldn't will myself out of bed at 6am so I diet leave until close to 9. I ended up heading north instead. I'm in Nederland now actually.
I may possibly join you on Thursday if interested.
I can't count the number of black canyon runs I've done this year by I was last there 2 weeks ago. Was perfect, nO construction.
I do recommend doing indie pass first instead of monarch for weather considerations. Indie sucks going up in the rain while monarch isnt so bad. Plus east bound 50 up monarch is say more fun then west bound because you're going up hill with 2 lanes and a lot more sweepers.

Just caged this road yesterday and it was torture not being on the bike! Definitely on my must ride list.
