I realize this is kinda a bike tech topic but thought I might find more people that know in this section. I bought a set of racing plastics for my bike and obviously the stock windscreen doesn't fit, so I guess my question is do most of you just take a stock windscreen and cut it to fit or are there aftermarket screens you can buy? My bike is a 2004 gsxr 1000.

The stock windscreen will usually work with aftermarket bodywork. What kind of race plastics did you buy? Either way, I would check with Mike (HCR 25), he works for Morse down in the Springs (race bodywork, repairs, paint and more) PM him here, or call the shop. http://www.morsefiberglass.com/
Get a Morse windscreen!! In fact just buy Morse everything, and you will be set! Their stuff is killer.
Is it the form of the shield or the hole location that doesn't line up?
