RC8 Down, and getting some Dirt.

I was headed up Hwy 7 today on my way to go find some dirt in Boulder and Gilpin Counties. I arrived right after an RC8 got binned. The rider was in his leathers and was ok, but the bike was f**d. I don't know if it was a CSC'er or not. I stopped and helped load the bike on the back of a flatbed that happened by and offered to help. Rider didn't seem too upset about the RC8, but I think he had a bit of adrenalin pumping. He picked up the RC to vertical, rear tire straight up in the air, on the ruined front end to dump the remaining fuel out onto the road and then I think he did most of the lifting onto the flatbed.

I continued on up through Caribou, Nederland and Rollins and up to Kingston Peak. It was absolutely gorgeous in the mountains, the weather was perfect and I had a great time.

Was it the White/Orange or Black/Orange color scheme?

It was white and orange. I already check the pics of Matrix's (Joew4505) RC8 to see if it was him, but his is black.

Where is that road in the first picture? Is it supermoto accessible?

Super easy. Take 119 South from Nederland to Rollinsville, West on Tolland Rd., which turns to East Portal. Go 3 or 4 miles (I'm estimating) to County Rd. 4N (Left.) Just stay on 4N and it goes where that picture was taken. I think 4N is marked 353 with Forest Service markers, if I remember right. You'd have to make an obvious turn off the 353 to miss the road to Kingston Pass. I don't think the SM would go much farther than you can see in the pic, but I saw mini vans on that road, your Super Moto would be fine to that point. There are some rocky spots, but not too bad.
