DAAAAAAAAAMMMMNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy shit! That almost looked fake how he was flying, but it was slow motion so thats why. Cuz it looked like they were going slow before the trailer
Well even at 20 mph the trailer acts like a wall and with the momentum it launches the dude... man that looked gnarly!
There is no F in Way that was a 20MPH impact.
He must have come flying up a blind hill or something. And why
did the bike with the camera go down?
"My God, it's full of stars!"
Never said it was actually 20 lol, just saying that even at that speed if you're not paying attention and with a stationary car/trailer/object it'll act like a slingshot... maybe the dude laid over trying to avoid debri or to go help.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Had this same question myself, rewatched several times and I couldn't see any direct impact or large debris, etc. It almost looked like the ZX10 bounced out in front of him, but not quite, and then instead of slamming down or anything, it looks like the front slid out or something, like maybe he was braking. Like I said, I didn't see any impact or anything, but it looked like it could have been avoided. I think however we can ignore the fact he may not have been paying attention to his own bike for a moment, lol.
On that note though, HOLY HECK.

Out for a group ride. I had never met the guy who was riding the ZX-10 before. As I was slowing down he was still going fast and said he never saw the trailer. The gopro camera is mounted to the front of my Ducati 848 Evo. He survived the crash with only a broken arm and broken leg however he was airlifted to the hospital.
The guy was a new rider with just a polo shirt, jeans, untied sneakers and a helmet on. He was told to stay in the back but as we accelerated on the straight away he raced to catch us. We -a group of about 8- saw the trailer and slowed. He continued to accelerate to the front between other riders when.....he hit the trailer.
To answer a few questions: My 848 was damaged on the left side. Broken shift lever, rashed plastic on nose, left side fairing, and rear tail fairing. Also broken upper fairing stay caused by me getting tossed forward over the handlebars when my bike hit the ground. Which answers the comment about me laying my bike down to help...His bike took me out and my bike went down because of it.
A random comment from youtube : "Too bad he fucked up the landing, he got some good air on that stunt."
flippin thru the air. landed on noggin. least he had his evil knivel helmet on...
The arguments and comments on YouTube definitely blew up pretty fast.
yeah right at the beginning like :05 you can see the zx10 hit him and the camera pitches to the left from it
That was crazy! He must have been going very fast.
One of the comments that made me laugh:
You are a man for just laying your bike down like that on the ground - I've personally seen so many people wait to get off their bike, put the kickstand down, and sometimes even take off their helmet or gloves before rendering aid. Kudos.

I would do something like that if family or my best friend was in that situation but I wouldn't lay my $20k bike to go help some squid that should've known better. By no means I'll let him die or not help but I wouldn't desperately lay out my bike in extreme concern.
Do not put off living the life you dream of. Next year may never come. If we are always waiting for something to change...
Retirement, the kids to leave home, the weather or the economy, that's not living. That's waiting!
Waiting will only leaves us with unrealized dreams and empty wishes.
Damn newbs. Lol. That was extreme! I would have hit the eject button just to get away from that nonsense. Hope the guy with the truck and trailer yelled at him. I would have. Som bitch broke my tail light!!
