SMRI races at La Junta this weekend

Is anyone else going to race with the SMRI at La Junta Seca this weekend?
Davey boy myself and Mike Yoder will be there. Hope some of the MRA will be there with us.

Does an MRA license get you in? Or do you need to have an SMRI license?

Mike is right.. 25.00 dollars for a WEEKEND lic. So far the count is 26 SMRI riders, and 3 MRA rider.

Mike, everyone down here is excited to have you and Dave racing with us... I have been looking forward to this weekend since I moved down here.

Also if you have a AMA lic. you can participate in the 1/2 track day on Saturday....

We have a money race 300.00 for first, down to 5th...if we have 12 or more riders in the ulgp we will pay to 8th...

Oh and we have REAL trophies this time no mugs *lol*

I'll check it out. Gotta work Sat. am but can head down in the afternoon. Tried to pre-register last night , but couldn't find a fax nearby.

Ytry2, what's the difference between NovGTO and NovOpen?

Re: SMRI races at La Junta this weekend

The weekend was actually alot of fun. Since the club is alot smaller, their practices last for (what feels like) forever. Mike and I had as much track time as we could have asked for, and winning a few races is always a nice thing too. TOo bad more MRA people didn't make the trip...

Just for kicks, I'm going down to Sandia on Sept 10/11 (or so I think). Anyone else feel like making a little drive to play with the SMRI?

I doubt we will go back down, but it would keep them on their toes if we all showed up...

    Dave,

I have room for another bike. It would involve some contribution to my gas fund however.
