Need Fastest way to SCR from North I-25

I'm coming down from Longmont to SCR on friday morning. I want to avoid 104 because of morning traffic. What exit do I take off of E-470 to get to the track? Thanks Doug

I think you exit off Tower I believe or Pena Blvd THEN Tower.

    Map Quest???
    here's the addy:

    Second Creek Raceway
    17010 E. 88th Ave.
    Commerce City, CO 80022

Take I-70 to Pena Blvd (Denver International Airport Exit).
Head North on Pena Blvd to the Tower Road, exit #5.
Head North on Tower Road to 88th Ave.
Head West on 88th for .7 miles.
Turn right into the track entrance on 88th.

    From the North:
    Take I-76 to 96th Ave.
Head east on 96th to Buckley.
Head South on Buckley to 88th.
Turn left into the track entrance on 88th.

I get off the exit right after 104th (I think it is 96th). If you pass that you pay the $1.75 toll. If you get off at 96th, you pay the $0.50 toll. Remember to bring quarters, as there is no toll taker.

Here's what I'd do, coming from Longmont....

Take I-25 South, to the HW7 exit, and go East. You'll travel maybe 8 miles into Brighton, and HW7 will become Bridge St. (our main drag).

Continue East on Bridge until you get to 27th ave. Turn right (S) on 27th and take that until it dead ends. (Incidently, 27th turns into Buckley Road).

Regardless, Buckley/27th will dead end at 120th. Turn left (E) on 120th and take it a couple miles till you hit Tower Rd.

Turn right (S) on Tower road and go to 88th ave. Turn right (W) on 88th and the entrance to SCR will be on the right hand side after 1/4 of a mile or so.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.
