Yes, yes you do lol... It is damn scary, I can throw a bike around no problem but scooters are so flimsy they scare the living hell out of me doing that.
In my experiences in Taiwan and So. Korea, no one fucking looks before they go. I'm not exaggerating. It was terrifying to ride in a cab.

Things learned from this video:
1. (some areas of) European / Asian scooter and motorcycle riders are nuts.
2. Clearly a primary reason for these accidents are because the laws allow them to behave ridiculously in traffic comparative to here (that's not just lane splitting - that's lane reckless presumption of right of way)
3. I'm never, ever, ever - even if I win the powerball and need to blow money randomly - riding a motorcycle, scooter, or any two wheeled vehicle anywhere these were filmed.
I'll stick to the the non-Mediterranean areas of Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Hawai'i, Alaska, and the good 'ol Continental USA thank you!
